Scott McIntosh Joins Headroom Digital Audio

Mixer Scott McIntosh (pictured) has joined Headroom Digital Audio in New York City, which serves the film, television and advertising industries. Before joining Headroom, McIntosh spent several years as a mixer and sound designer at McHale Barone. He has handled projects for major advertising agencies including BBDO, Publicis, Hill Holiday, JWT and Lowe Worldwide. McIntosh has also mixed commercials and other projects for Verizon Wireless, Canadian Club, Heineken, Cingular, Lipton Iced Tea, Saab, Malibu Rum and others.

McIntosh has a degree in audio engineering and production from the Institute of Audio Research in New York.

“Finding an engineer of Scott’s caliber was no easy task. It took over a year to find just the right guy to fill that chair,” said Headroom founder and president Jerry Plotkin. “His creativity, expertise and chill vibe puts Scott in great demand. He will be a strong addition to the Headroom team.”
