Grammy-nominated engineer/mixer Vaughan Merrick will lead a Sony Oxford plug-in special event on Wednesday, June 14 in New York City beginning at 6 p.m. at the Dale Pro Audio Event Room, 22 W. 19th Street, Second Floor.
Co-sponsored by Sony Pro Audio and Digidesign, the two-hour event will provide attendees with deep insights and solid insider tips on how to achieve maximum potential from the plug-ins Oxford EQ, Limiter, Transient Modulator, Inflator, Dynamics and Reverb.
Merrick has engaged the full range of Sony Oxford plug-ins on hits for artists ranging from The Chemical Brothers, Robbie Williams, Sean Paul and Brooke Valentine to Tristan Prettyman and Juliet.
“In addition to having Vaughan Merrick on board to handle the demos, we’ve invited Sony Oxford product manager Rod Densham, sales and marketing manager Nathan Eames and Digidesign product specialist Tony Cariddi to provide in-depth answers to technical questions,” says Paul Foschino, senior marketing manager for professional audio at Sony Electronics.
