SPARS to Partner with NAMM to Produce the SPARS Sessions

SPARS is partnering with the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) to co-brand a series of seminars called the SPARS Sessions. These events will be held in a newly created area of the NAMM convention center, dubbed the H.O.T. Zone (H.O.T. stands for “hands on training”). The sessions give SPARS member organizations the opportunity to raise their profiles and target professionals in the recording, live sound, house of worship, and staging industries.

The SPARS Sessions @ the H.O.T. Zone will offer a series of free special training seminars, face-to-face meetings, networking opportunities, and one-on-one mentoring to strengthen the knowledge base of industry colleagues. By participating in this program, companies will have an opportunity to reach a larger targeted NAMM audience as well as raising their profile at the convention.

The SPARS Sessions @ the H.O.T. Zone area will be accessible to non-credentialed visitors, including recording professionals, musicians, engineers, producers, studio owners and students. Session attendees will also be given a special VIP pass, which will allow them entrance to the NAMM show following seminar attendance.

In addition, SPARS and its partners will host a pre-conference reception in Los Angeles for Southern California recording and production professionals to familiarize them with the SPARS Sessions and provide information on free participation.

For more information, visit NAMM’s H.O.T. Zone page.

SPARS is the 30-year-old non-profit association representing professionals in the recording industry. The organization is dedicated to providing networking, education and community to its members and the industry as a whole. Visit SPARS at www.spars.com.
