Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH in Hamburg, Germany, announces a price drop for its USB-powered CMC Series controllers, which are compatible with Mac OS X and Windows. Effective September 19, 2012, the suggested retail price for the CMC-FD, CMC-CH, CMC-AI, CMC-QC, CMC-TP and CMC-PD is now $99.99.
Steinberg introduced the CMC Series in 2011, and the company reports that it achieved an increase in the efficiency of production in this year’s first two quarters, which allows for the price reduction.
The CMC controllers are available through the Steinberg Online Shop and authorized Steinberg resellers.
