Studio Network Solutions (SNS) announced that it will feature the public beta version of its Postmap software at IBC Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The trade show is scheduled from September 8 through September 12, 2006 and the company will exhibit in booth number 7.518.
Postmap is SNS’ new search and management software for post-production workgroups that runs on both Mac and Windows platforms. Postmap is designed to quickly locate folders and files stored locally, remotely, offline or online. Users can create and attach enhanced metadata to describe and classify specific files and folders to reduce search times, share production notes and organize customized files to enhance the workflow process. SNS developed Postmap to fill the void between simple OS-native search tools and highly complex digital asset management applications.
