Taylor Guitars, Lectrosonic Digital Hybrid Wireless Come Together to Develop Expression System

Two new technologies are being put to use by acoustic guitar-maker Taylor Guitars: the T5 Thinline guitar and the Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless(tm) system. The Lectrosonics wireless system was chosen by Taylor to complement their Expression System guitar pickup systems. According to David Hosler, developer of the Expression System pickup at Taylor: “We spent years developing the Expression System from the ground up, and have felt that no wireless system to date can capture all that this system puts out. Now, with the Digital Hybrid system from Lectrosonics, we’ve found a perfect match–it sounds great and is built like a tank.”

Noted Karl Winkler, Lectrosonics’ director of business development, “We’re extremely pleased our system has been chosen by Taylor for the debut of their new T5 guitar at NAMM. Taylor’s reputation in the industry is sterling, and we feel that the Digital Hybrid technology is a perfect match for their fine guitars.”
