TC Group Americas Inc.—distributor of TC Electronic, TC Helicon, Dynaudio Acoustics Tannoy, Lab.gruppen and Linn, based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada—has appointed Steve Strassberg (pictured) as its new VP of Sales—HD. Strassberg’s background includes an undergraduate degree in Mass Communications and a Masters degree in Business (MBA).
Strassberg is a 35-year veteran of the broadcast industry who began his career with positions at CBS Radio, followed by CBS Television. He then began his sales and sales management career working for distinguished companies such as Adams-Smith, New England Digital and Sonic Solutions. In 1990 Strassberg formed Strassberg Associates in New York, a direct-to-end-user sales company, which continues as an entity and a valuable resource in the New York market.

For the past 20 years, Strassberg has successfully grown Strassberg Associates into a major technical sales company serving the broadcast, post-production and recording markets. Strassberg is now looking forward to being a part of the TCGA team. “I am excited by the challenge of expanding our sales in our primary markets as well as our newly targeted markets,” Strassberg says. “I look forward to being a part of the future success of the TCGA team.”
