Terra Digital Audio MX2
Terra Digital Audio has released the MX2 quad-core and M6-R Core 2 Duo systems. The MX2 ($2,499) is a Windows-based workstation available in a rackmount or tower chassis that is designed to run a Digidesign Pro Tools HD system. The base model ships with two Intel Xeon 2.66GHz dual-core processors and supports processor speeds up to 3.73 GHz. MX2 supports up to 32 GB of PC5400 fully buffered ECC memory, four hard drives (SATA and/or SCSI combos), two SATA dual layer DVD-RW drives, and graphic/video boards including the full line of NVIDIA Quadro cards.
Terra Digital Audio M6-R
The M6-R ($2,249) is a PC-based DAW for Digi 003, 002 and MBox users available in 4U rackmount or tower chassis. It features the Intel Core 2 Duo processor and supports processor speeds up to 2.93GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme. The unit also supports up to 8 GB of PC5400 memory, three SATA hard drives, two SATA dual layer DVD-RW drives and graphic/video boards including the full line of NVIDIA Quadro cards.
