Tonic (www.tonic.tv) has openedTonic Downtown (New YOrk City), located within Full Circle Post (www.fullcirclepost.com) at 19 W. 21st St. This latest expansion offers Tonic’s downtown clients access to its Emmy Award–winning audio services, as well as introducing its spectrum of original scoring, sound design and mixing capabilities to Full Circle Post clients.
“Activity at our Tonic East and Tonic West locations, in midtown and the West Side, respectively, has been at an all-time high,” says Tonic principal/composer Peter Fish. “However, we also wanted to accommodate the growing number of production and agency clients operating south of the 23rd Street border. The warm atmosphere and professional infrastructure of Full Circle Post are ideal for Tonic Downtown.”
Tonic Downtown features a fully equipped stereo and 5.1 Pro Tools|HD mix room;’ both Tonic Downtown and Full Circle Post clients will have access to the same staff that has established Tonic East (50 E. 42nd St.) and Tonic West (450 W. 33rd St.). Emmy Award–winning composers at Tonic include Fish and A.J. “Andy’” Gundell, as well as sound designer Jun Mizumachi and mixers Bill Cavanaugh, Doug Johnson, Anthony Erice and Juan Aceves.
