John Oram of Trident Audio Ltd. in the UK announces a collaboration with Trident Audio S.A. de C.V. Monterrey, Mexico for the supply and marketing of audio equipment in Latin America. The collaboration will create additional opportunities to expand distribution of analog audio equipment within the rapidly developing markets of Latin America, making use of Trident Audio S.A. de C.V.’s extensive expertise in this region.
In 1999, the president of Trident Audio S.A de C.V, Santiago Salinas Benavides acquired all remaining rights and entitlements of Holbear Ltd. and David Stocks’ Trident Audio Developments subsidiary of Centredisc Ltd. Having also bought all remaining inventory in the UK, Benavides imported it into Mexico and concentrated on building a business there and in other parts of Latin America.
