Turner Studios, the broadcast production division of Turner Entertainment Group, has installed a 96-input Studer D950 M2 Digital Mixing System into its first live surround sound production room, Control Room 24. This purchase notably marks the fifth D950 in Turner’s current inventory of studio consoles.

According to Jay Yeary, engineering audio manager for Turner Studios, the console was commissioned in mid-May, just in time for use on the NBA Western Conference Finals.

Turner Studios purchased its initial Studer D950 desks when it relocated to its present facility back in September of 1999, upgrading from a D940.
