Universal Audio announced the UAD-1e Express PAK and UAD-1e Expert PAK (pictured) PCI Express DSP Cards & Powered Plug-Ins. The UAD-1e Express PAK and Expert PAK will both ship in the third quarter of 2006 bundled with UA’s core 15 free Mix/Gtr FX plug-in suite plus a UAD$100 (Express) and UAD$750 (Expert) voucher that customers can use to pick and purchase UA plug-in authorizations online.
Universal Audio also announced Version 4.3 software for the UAD-1 DSP Card and Powered Plug-Ins system. Version 4.3 includes a 14-day, fully functional demo of the Neve 1073 and 1073SE plug-ins. Full authorizations of the Neve plug-ins will be available to registered UAD-1 customers for $249 from my.uaudio.com.
Finally, the company is offering two summer product promotions that will run from June 1 through August 31, 2006. The SOLO 100 and UAD 100 promotions both reward customers with UAD$100 vouchers.
“These promos offer UAD users a great opportunity to get UAD$100 vouchers to use at the my.uaudio.com store for plug-in purchases,” says Mike Barnes, VP of marketing for Universal Audio. “What’s more, these UAD$100 vouchers don’t expire so customers can wait for new releases like the Neve plug-ins. These vouchers can also be combined with other UA discount coupons.”
For the Solo 100 promo, customers can buy and register a SOLO/110 or SOLO/610 mic pre and DI box and get a UAD$100 voucher for each SOLO purchase valid for all UAD plug-ins. This offer will automatically be made retroactive to all existing registered SOLO customers.
For the UAD 100 promo, customers can buy and register a second, third or fourth UAD-1 or UAD-1e DSP card and get a UAD$100 voucher for each extra card purchased that is valid for all UAD plug-ins. This offer applies to all UAD-1 bundles: Project PAK, Flexi PAK, Studio PAK, Ultra PAK and the new UAD-1e Express PAK and UAD-1e Expert PAK.
