University of Memphis to Host Massenburg and Vander Ark

The University of Memphis’ Music Industry Division at the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music welcomes recording legends George Massenburg (pictured) and Brian Vander Ark. Producer/engineer Massenburg will spend April 16 and 17 teaching master classes and giving hands-on demonstrations for music industry students, including a live recording session with Platinum-selling musical artist Brian Vander Ark, lead singer of The Verve Pipe.

The University of Memphis’ Music Industry Division at the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music welcomes recording legends George Massenburg and Brian Vander Ark. Producer/engineer Massenburg will spend April 16 and 17 teaching master classes and giving hands-on demonstrations for music industry students, including a live recording session with Platinum-selling musical artist Brian Vander Ark, lead singer of The Verve Pipe.

Massenburg will also speak on the current and future state of the music industry at the FedEx Institute of Technology on Tuesday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m. The event will be of interest to audio engineers, music producers and all music professionals, and will be free to the public.
