Yamaha Corporation of America is now distributing and marketing digital music equipment manufacturer Central Music Company’s (CME) products in the United States. CME has been a major importer and distributor for many of top music production brands in the Chinese market. The company was also the distributor for Yamaha music production products in China until April 1, 2005, when Yamaha founded its own Chinese subsidiary.
Since 1993, Central Music Co. has developed its own line of products, manufactured and sold under the CME brand name. Products include the UF Series, VX Series and U-Key MIDI master controller keyboards, the Matrix Series audio modules, the Xcorpio USB audio interface and the BitStream3x advanced MIDI controller.
