Distinguished composer and longtime United Recording client Chris Walden has moved his composition studio into the upstairs former Reprise Records office of Frank Sinatra, while he was recording hits at United like “It Was A Very Good Year.”

Seven-time Grammy(r) nominated composer/arranger/conductor Chris Walden has scored more than 40 feature and TV films, and has written more than 1,500 orchestral and big band arrangements for artists including Michael Bublé, Aretha Franklin, Paul McCartney, SEAL, Stevie Wonder, Rihanna, Barbra Streisand, Josh Groban, and for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Boston Pops.

“I love to come to work at my writing room at United,” Walden explained. “I feel inspired by the history of the building and I use the studios to record my projects as much as I can.”

Since 1999, Walden has been leading his own big band, recruited from top studio musicians based in Los Angeles.
