Nashville, TN, April 30, 2009 — 615 Music has written and produced a new theme song for Peachtree TV and the Atlanta Braves, 615 Music President and CEO Randy Wachtler announced today. “The Braves Play Hereâ€? was written by Greg Barnhill and Randy Wachtler for 615 Music. The song was performed by recording artists Montgomery Gentry on the Columbia label, with Blake Chancey and Randy Wachtler serving as co-producers.
“This year’s version of ‘The Braves Play Here’ is an extension of a song we created last year, incorporating the famous Braves chant echoed by Braves fans at Turner Field in Atlanta,� Wachtler said. “We love the new song and plan to make it a centerpiece of our marketing campaign for the Braves this year,â€? said Bryan Slonaker, Senior Director of Creative Services for Peachtree TV, which produced the campaign. Added Eddie Montgomery, “Creating a song for some of baseball’s biggest fans was something new and different for us.
