Audio Plus Now Distributing ‘VOVOX’ Audio Cables to US & Canada

VOVOX CABLES

Swiss-made Premium-quality Cables for the studio, guitar, bass & keyboard instrument markets now available to dealers in US and Canada
Champlain, NY – February 2, 2010 – Audio Plus Services, the distributor behind Focal Professional in North America, today announced that they have begun distributing the VOVOX(r) line of Swiss-made, premium-quality cables for two distinct market segments in the US and Canada. The VOVOX Link(tm) series of cables have silver-plated, oxygen-free copper conductor cable cores, while the VOVOX Sonorus(tm) line have ultra-pure copper cores. Both lines of cables – dubbed ‘sound connectors’ – are designed and constructed in-house by the company in Switzerland and adhere to strict quality control and sonic measurement scrutiny, unlike companies that buy all separate parts, including standard wire-core cable, to ‘construct’ a cable. The VOVOX cables cover solutions for the entire analog signal transmission chain, as well as AC and digital connections.

One

group of VOVOX cables is designed for use in recording studios where the interconnection between multi-thousand dollar hardware, such as A-to-D converters, compressors, EQs and microphones, is often the weakest link, and improving the sound connection and durability becomes paramount for assuring the best sounding recordings and mixes. The second segment of VOVOX cables is designed for the guitar, bass and keyboard instrument markets where durability is only slightly secondary to the sound quality. Guitarists, for example, who pride themselves on the finest guitars, tube amps and specially designed floor ‘stomp box’ pedals will find VOVOX cables more durable and with the highest sound quality and transparency available today. New dealer inquiries are welcome from Audio Plus; interested customers can browse www.vovox.com for specifics on VOVOX cables. An expanded range of the VOVOX Sonorus version of cables will debut at the 2010 Musikmesse trade show in Frankfurt, Germany in March.

“We are extremely pleased to expand our line of professional audio products at Audio Plus Services with the VOVOX line of premium cables,” stated Simon Côté, Manager of Professional Products at Audio Plus Services. “Both the studio market and the guitar, bass and keyboard instrument market will appreciate these cables. After all the effort musicians and engineers have put into their music systems, whether it’s a live performance guitar set up, or a Pro Tools-based recording studio, these cables will serve their search for the cleanest sound and most robust setup day after day. When you have a vintage guitar and amp, you want to connect them with the very highest quality cable, and one that will last, likewise with a multi-thousand dollar microphone, it’s the one chance you get to make capturing the sound the best it can possibly be.”

The company offers balanced line/mic XLR cables and AES/EBU digital cables both with customized Neutrik(r) connectors, as well as BNC and AC power cables. On all VOVOX cables, the robust cable jacketing is made of high-purity polymers covering a layer of natural fiber netting for long-life use and reduced microphonic noise.
