Life for the DJ has never been more exciting. The electronic music industry is flying high, the range of toys is vast, the tunes are massive, and the opportunities are there for the taking. As every DJ knows, its not just about spinning the tunes. Increasingly, producing tracks and putting your own signature on the sounds of the dance floor is key to success. BPM and SAE Institute know that the transition to production is not always easy.

So, picture this: 12 electronic production workstations, 4 Ableton rigs and a host of SAE Institute Electronic Music Production and Digital DJ’ing tutors. This is the BPM Learning Zone – Powered by SAE Institute! A brand new feature at BPM.

Whether you are a novice looking to create your first bass line, or a producer wanting to explore

new advanced techniques, SAE Institute tutors will be on hand to sit with you and give you the hands-on practical guidance that SAE students worldwide experience every day.

The Learning Zone will run 12 Apple iMac electronic production workstations running Logic Studio with Novation Controllers as well as 4 stand-alone digital DJ’ing stations running Ableton Live coupled with the Vestax VCM600.

Combine all this gear with the SAE Institute tutors and your drive, and you have a recipe for some awesome tune making!

SAE Institute will also be complimenting the Learning zone with seminars on topics such as Electronic music production, Live electronic performance and a remix workshop by master remixer Ian Wallman (Lady Gaga, Shakira and many more…)
