Hollywood, CA, November 2016 - Renowned and critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Dann Rogers has released his new single, "Just One of Those Days." Rogers called on Paul Grundman, son of studio founder Bernie Grundman, for the mastering of the new record. Joining the sessions was guitarist and co-producer Craig T. Hall, who has played on hit records with Stevie Wonder, Martha & The Vandellas, The Spinners, Roger Miller, Glen Campbell, and the Beach Boys, among others.

Before his career as a popular performer and recording artist, Dann Rogers earned early fame as the young songwriter of Johnny Nash's hit, "My Merry Go Round," which John Lennon described as the "most beautiful bloody song I've ever heard in my life." At the time, Rogers' father Lelan was a successful label executive, while his uncle Kenny was as established pop music legend.

"It's been great working on this new song with Craig and mastering this project with Paul," commented Rogers. "I feel that Paul and I were destined to work together. His dad has mastered so many classic records and I have always admired my father's talents as a businessman and my Uncle Kenny for his gifts.
Kenny is retiring, but he's always loved my work and encouraged me to record some new material and carry on the Rogers legacy."

Paul Grundman described the mastering session, "When I introduced my father to Dann, he remembered working on some of Kenny's classic records. Dann's music also has the feeling that you are in the presence of something real and something you understand immediately. It was a pleasure to work on this because the production is so organic and cohesive. The strength of the vocal performance just gave me the chills."

Early on, Rogers made his mark as the consummate showman with his stellar band, Dann Rogers County Line. Later as a solo artist, he has worked with artists such as Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett, Burton Cummings of the Guess Who, Michael McDonald, Norton Buffalo, and Hugh McDowell of the Electric Light Orchestra, among many others. His first album, "Hearts Under Fire" produced a top 10 hit: "Looks Like Love Again", and the timeless "China" made top 20 that same year.  Soon after came a second critically acclaimed album, "Still Runnin" with MCA Records.

In addition to his career as a musician, Rogers has a successful career as a businessman, and recently founded Fanzr (tm), an entertainment industry artist revenue-sharing enterprise.
