Delta H Design proudly welcomes Alex Ritchie to DHDI’s Emerging Artists Program

[Marina Del Rey, CA] – Delta H Design, Inc. (DHDI) the leader in Quantum AcousticsTM announces Alex Ritchie’s induction into the Emerging Artists Program. The first in an exclusive group of sponsored artists, Alex Ritchie is a songwriter, producer, and recording artist with roots as a performer.

After performing on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood while in high school, Ritchie independently released her first record, The Beginning (2009). She then moved to NYC to pursue a career in the music industry, where she met and eventually worked for producer J. Chris Griffin (Justin Bieber, Madonna).Together they produced the single, “Understandable,” (2011), after which she moved back to Los Angeles to record a full album.While writing and recording at various studios in LA, Ritchie met mixing/mastering/audio engineer, David Kim (Kendrick Lamar, DJ Khaled) at Chalice Studios, who worked on her latest EP, Heart Weight (2015).

After Heart Weight’s release, Ritchie focused on songwriting for other music artists, film, and TV.In 2016, she received a scholarship to attend legendary Westlake Studios’ newly established Cre8 Music Academy.She was also one of 25 chosen by the Los Angeles Chapter of the Recording Academy to be part of the GrammyNEXT 2016-2017 class, an initiative designed to identify and empower the next generation of music industry leaders. Through GrammyNEXT, she was mentored by Carianne Marshall, Grammy Board Member and Partner / Head of Sync & Licensing for SONGS Music Publishing.

In 2017, she was taken under the wing of Hollywood heavyweight music supervisor Tracy McKnight and has worked with producer Mantra (Rihanna/Future), Lee Major (Jay-Z, Rick Ross), songwriter Sammy Plotkin, Latin artist and songwriter Beto Vargas, La La Land singer Angela Parrish and Nashville-based Americana songstress Lydia Luce. She is currently working on her second EP, which is scheduled for a 2018 release.
