Hollywood, CA (August 30, 2011) – EASTWEST, the industry leader in virtual software instruments, is now shipping both the Diamond and Gold Editions of Hollywood Brass, a massive virtual instrument that features unprecedented sound quality and the brand new PLAY 3 playback engine for the very latest in performance and control. Based on the flagship Diamond Edition, Hollywood Brass Gold Edition is designed to bring the best professional scoring tools within the reach of any composer.

Hollywood Brass Gold Edition was designed to run on most music creation computer systems, and the system specifications are consistent with most other EASTWEST/QUANTUM LEAP products. The Gold Edition is 16-bit, with one mic position (main) and includes all articulations found in the Diamond Edition. Upgrades to Hollywood Brass Diamond Edition can be done at any time. The Gold Edition ships on DVD.
