In its continuing efforts to pursue creative excellence, Elias Arts, a world renowned creative collective devoted to music composition, strategy and production, has expanded its highly successful multi-cultural division, Avenida Acceso, with the addition of its new Creative Director, Composer and General Manager Mike Pandolfo. The announcement was made today by Dante Piacenza, EVP/GM/Executive Producer, Elias Arts, who is based in New York.
In his new position, Pandolfo, also based in NYC, will oversee the musical production and continued growth of Elias Arts’ Avenida Acceso Group. He will work closely with the company’s existing clients, and introduce new clients to the talented group. In addition, he will work closely with Andres Levin, featured Artist/ creative director for Avenida Acceso and Band Leader/ Producer of the Latin fusion band, “Yerba Buena.�
Regarding the Avenida Acceso Group’s expansion, Piacenza said, “Mike Pandolfo truly brings an amazing feel and ability for crafting contemporary yet authentic music, as well as the knowledge of how to best guide its use smartly. He’s a very talented composer, and is gifted at melding musical styles and genres. He really rounds out the team nicely, and is a fantastic addition to the Avenida Acceso Group.�
ABOUT MIKE PANDOLFO:
Mike Pandolfo began his musical career in 1995, and has since found success working in the audio, film and television industries in both the multi-cultural and general markets. With a background in classical music, a deep love for contemporary rhythms and beats, and a talent for melding different genres and textures together, Pandolfo has produced music featured in projects ranging from international TV commercials for the Haitian soccer team, to Tony Hawk’s videogame “Proving Ground.�
Pandolfo is known for applying his talent for creating distinct and original work to a wide variety of major brands, including Mercedes, Volvo, Reebok, Sears, Old Navy, Intel, Cingular, Verizon and Bacardi, among others. His versatility has also led him to projects such as scoring the critically acclaimed HBO short movie “Daddy,� and creating all of the promotional music for Comedy Central’s “The Sarah Silverman Show.�
Most recently, Pandolfo served as Managing Director/Creative Director of the NYC-based music production company Wonderful for four years, after working as a top composer at other established music houses throughout New York City.
