As an ongoing part of the company’s 35th Anniversary Promotion campaign, Fishman has awarded its first Grand Prize of a Fluence®-equipped ESP LTD SN-1000W electric guitar with a beautiful tobacco sunburst finish to Ronnie Rue of Sunset, Louisiana.
Ronnie is a professional guitarist in the Louisiana zydeco band “Leroy Thomas & the Zydeco Roadrunners” that plays over 100 shows a year. Commenting on his prize, he said, “The guitar is sweet and it got a lot of compliments. Our sound man said it was one of the best sounding guitars he ever heard and he was definitely going to check out the Fluence pickups.”
Participants in the Facebook contest were asked to show Fishman their best “rock n’ roll pose” and encourage their friends to “like” their photo. The photo with the most “likes” was the Grand Prize winner.
As part of this promotion, the company will give away a Fishman-equipped OEM instrument that features innovative and category leading technologies such as Aura®, Fluence®, and TriplePlay® each quarter. Additionally, Fishman will also give away a Loudbox Mini amplifier to one winner every two weeks. There will also be weekly “grab-bag” prizes such as tuners and other small goods.
A celebration of Fishman’s 35 years of Inspired Performance Technology, the promotion is part of yearlong social media campaign to showcase its products, build brand awareness and encourage engagement among Fishman fans and fans of their extensive lineup of OEM partners – present and future.
