Chicago, Ill.⎯Gand Concert Sound (GCS) of Glenview, IL provided a Yamaha PM5D-RH digital console for the ‘last big show’ at Buddy Guy’s original Legends blues club in Chicago. The club, is celebrating 20 years in business, is owned by the five-time GRAMMY winning guitarist.
The event was a private party with the Dave Mason Band as the headliner. The ‘last big show’ opened with Chicago blues guitar royalty Ronnie Baker Brooks, son of recent Blues Hall of Fame inductee Lonnie Brooks.
Gand also provided a 40 x 8 onstage monitor mix, splitter snake, GCS subwoofers and mic package as well as extensive back line for both bands. “We have been working on Buddy’s new club, up the block, and wanted to take care of patrons at the final show to give them a taste of what to expect in the new facility,â€? said event crew chief and

The club is scheduled to open in time for the Chicago Blues Fest and Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festival this month. The new Legend’s is equipped with NEXO R2 speakers and NEXO 4X4 amps.
