HHB FLASHMIC TELL IT/WIN IT PROMOTION

OLD LYME, CONNECTICUT: When HHB introduced the world’s first digital recording microphone back in 2005, the flash recorder/professional-grade Sennheiser microphone hybrid was set for success. With a total of four models now on the market, HHB’s FlashMic has reached the hands of even more dedicated users – of which there are many.

To get a hold of the many remarkable stories and interviews the FlashMic has captured, HHB is soliciting “FlashMic Case Studies” from its worldwide legion of devoted users, including BBC World News reporters and amateur podcasters alike. HHB will feature the best anecdotes in a forthcoming series of s, and users whose stories are selected will win a free FlashMic.

Participants need only navigate to www.hhb.co.uk/flashmic to submit a short summary of their interesting FlashMic application, along with up to five digital photographs. A print ad created from a typical case study is also available from the same site to help guide participants. It features journalist Sarah Kirkup of Classic FM and her coverage of the Classical BRIT Awards in London. Without an awkward tangle of cables to distract or intimidate her interviewees, Kirkup was able to gracefully interview a “who’s who list” of British classical stars with her FlashMic.

“We’re excited to hear about all the cool ways people are using their FlashMics,” said Dawn Birr, brand manager for HHB, “and our curiosity alone would have been sufficient to run this case study offer. However, by using these case studies in our s, we hope to underscore the tremendous variety of uses that the FlashMic inspires and the myriad of ways in which the device has permitted users to do things that they could not have previously. Nothing could make those points more clearly than case studies from real users.”

There is no purchase necessary for participation. The case study offer is open to everyone except employees of HHB Communications Ltd. and Sennheiser Electronic Corporation. By submitting a FlashMic case study, users accept that their case study and photographs may be used in HHB advertising and promotional materials.

HHB products are distributed exclusively in the United States, Mexico, Central and South America and the Caribbean by Sennheiser Electronic Corporation. HHB joins a list of distinguished audio brands distributed by Sennheiser, including Neumann microphones, Klein + Hummel studio systems and installed sound products and Turbosound loudspeakers.
