Hosa Technology Awards 2015 Audio Engineering Program Scholarship

Winner Clifton Harris is Primed for Success

Buena Park, CA, October 2015 — Hosa Technology, Inc., the leading innovator of analog and digital connectivity solutions for the audio and video professional, is pleased to award the third annual Hosa Technology Audio Engineering Program Scholarship at Musicians Institute (MI) in Los Angeles, California, to Clifton Harris. Harris was chosen for providing clearly articulated career goals in his scholarship submission essay.

Asked why he chose to study in the Audio Engineering Program at MI, Harris stated, “I want to learn a lot of technical aspects of mixing, as well as tricks of the trade in the multiple ways you can mix certain elements (with bass in particular). I’d also like more experience mixing live instruments.”

Harris wishes to take the knowledge he receives at MI to multiple facets of the audio engineering industry, including mixing for music, TV, and film. When asked about his professional vision, Clifton said, “I’d like to write songs and produce albums along with scoring films and movie soundtracks.”

The Hosa Technology Audio Engineering Program Scholarship is available to new students enrolling in the Audio Engineering Program at MI. Eligible students must provide a completed application along with an essay detailing their career goals in the audio industry. The awarded tuition credit is applied to the initial quarter of the program as long as the recipient maintains satisfactory progress.
