Orange County’s premier recording studios host annual NAMM party
Santa Ana, CA – For the second year, Hybrid Studios, Orange County’s premier recording studio and sound stage, opened their doors for a special event during this year’s NAMM Show in late January. The “Hybrid Happy Hour” has grown into a must-attend party while music industry professionals are in town for the largest music and audio trade show of the year just minutes away at the Anaheim Convention Center.
“It was another awesome year at NAMM and a successful second year for Hybrid Happy Hour,” said Mike Miller, Hybrid Studio Manager. “It’s always great to open our doors to the public, have some fun, and just enjoy the facility. We had a great turnout, and we’ll definitely be doing this again next year.”
Guests numbering more than 200 could be found in every corner of Hybrid Studios, which boasts a large live recording room, spacious mixing/control room, a massive sound stage as well as an outdoor patio, where they were treated to beer by Bootleggers Brewery, food by In-N-Out and Sol Agave, and a musical performance by Redlight King. Industry sponsors included Dangerous Music, Retro Instruments, Jumperz Cables, Collaborative Audio Labs, and Glyph Technologies brought together by Audio Alchemist.
Among attendees were industry notables multi-platinum producers Warren Huart and Ronnie King, Aaron Pauley and Valentino Arteaga from the band Of Mice & Men, Hanson Hsu of Delta H Design, Clinton Calton of the southern California punk band D.I., and Chad Szeliga (formerly of Breaking Benjamin).
