Immediate Music Expands, Opens New Headquarters, Adds Composers and Director of Operations

Santa Monica, CA, September 8, 2008 – Immediate Music, Hollywood’s preeminent supplier of original music for high profile, major studio feature film trailers, has made a significant company expansion. The development involves the establishment of a consolidated company headquarters, the building of two production studios, and the addition of several new personnel. The expansion follows on the heels of the company having just provided its signature music for NBC’s 2008 Beijing Olympics. Immediate Music’s Emmy Award winning co-
founders/composers/producers Yoav Goren and Jeffrey Fayman made the
announcements.

Immediate Music has opened its new base of operations in Santa Monica, CA. In addition to office space for the company’s growing staff, the facility will also feature two innovative, state of the art production studios. Concurrently with its expansion, Immediate Music has also extended its roster of in-house composers, by adding Mark Phillips and John Samuel Hanson, and has also named Emily Weber as its Director of Operations. (more details below)

Regarding the expansion, Fayman said, “Having worked for many years producing original high quality music for film advertising, we realized that the time had come for us to branch out further – to reach out to a broader potential client base by making our catalogue available for the first time to other arenas. To do this, we decided that we needed a larger base of operations. Our new space, two new recording studios and expanded personnel will help serve that purpose.

Said Goren, Our new in-house composers are really extraordinary, and will help us develop more product in the coming months, as we seek to introduce our material to the TV, videogame and advertising industries. And Emily Weber is a highly experienced executive who really understands our field. We believe she will help take Immediate Music to the next level.

ABOUT NEW IN-HOUSE COMPOSERS:

Composer Mark Phillips spent several years touring the world as a guitarist for Down By Law, The Joykiller, and Cheater, playing shows with such notable acts as No Doubt, Stone Temple Pilots, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and many others. He later studied Music Composition for Television and Film at UCLA as well as completing certification as an Audio Engineer. He has written music for the TV series “The Amazing Race (CBS/Bruckheimer,) “Dirty Dancing (Lion’s Gate/WE,) “America’s Most Wanted (Barber/Fox,) “Ghost Stories (WB), and over 70 other shows. He also contributed to the score of NBC’s hit series “American Gladiators.

After John Samuel Hanson received his Bachelor of Arts in music composition from California State University Fullerton, he worked for composer Klaus Badelt at Hans Zimmer’s renowned production facility, Media Ventures/Remote Control. There, Hanson used his musical talents composing for many productions in television and film. He has also been a sound programmer and score assistant on the motion pictures “Constantine,â€? “Ultraviolet,â€? “The Promise,â€? “16 Blocks,â€? and “Poseidon.â€? The composer has also contributed his works to “Blind Dating,â€? “Illegal Tenderâ€? and “Suburban Girlâ€? as a score and sound programmer with virtuoso composer Heitor Pereira. In addition, Weber has been a freelance music supervisor and composer, and has also worked as a studio musician — she is a noted bassist and tenor saxophonist.

Immediate Music’s new Production Studios feature an SSL AWS 900+ board, ProTools HD4 Studio rigs, and fully-loaded 64-bit Dual Quad Core MacPros capitalizing on a superfast fibre network which hosts the sounds libraries and audio recordings. Goren and Fayman note that Immediate Music is not only on the cutting edge of music for media, but also stands at the forefront in the application of modern technology in the audio industry.
