At the age of 17, Harmoni Kelley sat down on her living room floor and taught herself to play bass. After honing her chops with artists like Fastball, James McMurtry, Hank Williams Jr., and Radney Foster, in 2014 she landed in Kenny Chesney’s band. She joins us from her home in Austin to chat about the work, the play, and what it takes to get and keep the gig.
