Kelowna, BC––Starting the year with a series of productions, Northwest Global Entertainment put its Martin Audio line arrays to good use.
First Steve Williams and his NWGE team including System Tech Perry McDonald supplied a W8LM rig for Tegan and Sara at the Kelowna Community Theater. The popular sister act from Calgary, Alberta was originally signed by Neil Young and Elliott Roberts to a record contract in 2000. With six albums to their credit, the sisters are a consistent draw throughout Canada and North America.
Later that month, NWGE handled the production chores for Canadian rocker Colin James who launched his national tour from the same venue. The show featured Martin Audio W8LM Mini Line Array enclosures with WSX subs and Martin Audio power for his concert. As Williams explains, “the show had a high volume and the rig
performed amazingly well with a great level of head room. The client and audience and artist engineers were very pleased with the rig.”
