METAlliance Academy Comes to Sound Stage in Nashville

“Tracking In Session with The Guys”

The METAlliance (Music Engineering and Technical Alliance) Academy is coming to Nashville’s famed Sound Stage Studios for an immersive recording event on December 6 & 7. “Tracking in Session with The Guys” attendees will participate and interact with METAlliance founders: Chuck Ainlay, Ed Cherney, Frank Filipetti, George Massenburg, Elliot Scheiner, and Al Schmitt in live recording sessions.

Following successful METAlliance events in Hollywood at the historic studios in the Capitol Records tower and in New York City at Avatar Studios, participants will once again get a close-up look at basic tracking and mic techniques with some of today’s top talents, in Nashville’s Sound Stage Studios.

“Our previous METAlliance Academy events were a great experience for all of us,” commented George Massenburg. “We’ll be working with top musicians in a great studio with a very small group of students, pros, educators and recording beginners.”

The METAlliance offers a unique opportunity to experience living history while learning invaluable techniques with the legendary master craftsmen who founded the METAlliance. Two days focused on the art and craft of recording. Interact with all six METAlliance members with live musicians (TBA).

Amenities include catered lunchs on both Saturday and Sunday. Space is extremely limited and only a small number of attendees will have this unique opportunity. Cost: $1,495.00 per person.
