Founding METAlliance directors Chuck Ainlay, Ed Cherney, George Massenburg, Phil Ramone and Al Schmitt were among the speakers who presented examples of hi-resolution recordings, music videos and anecdotes about life in the studio over the years.

The Hollywood workshop served as a precursor to the second annual METAlliance Educator Summit to convene October 8 on the eve of the AES Convention in NYC, at NYU's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. Invitees expected to attend include New York University, Berklee College of Music,
