Nashville, TN: The leading acoustical design, analysis and implementation firm Carl Tatz Design (CTD) has again scored top honors, with two of its studios being chosen by Mix Magazine for the Class of 2016 issue, which features 19 of the World’s Finest in Studio Design.
“Once again we're thrilled and grateful to have two of our studios chosen by Mix Magazine to be included in their prestigious annual ‘Class Of’ issue," comments CTD principal Carl Tatz. "The News Room required a team of structural engineers to achieve the client's performance goals in what was originally a space-compromised footprint. The effort resulted in a resounding success rendering an ultra high performance CTD MixRoom™ and PhantomFocus™ System – 2," notes Tatz. "While the beautiful and spacious full-blown tracking studio, Emerald City defines what a personal studio can be and also includes an ultra-high-performance CTD MixRoom™ featuring the new PhantomFocus Monitor in a PFS – 4.”
Note: All MixRooms utilize a custom application of the Carl Tatz Signature Series™ family of acoustic modules by Auralex®.
