Popular Dutch band Moke have selected Electro-Voice audio equipment for their current tour of Holland’s top clubs, ensuring their fans enjoy the best possible reproduction of their distinctive sound.
Moke kicked off the tour with a sold-out show at Amsterdam’s top pop venue De Melkweg, performing through a sound system featuring EV XLC line array loudspeakers. The band also hand-picked the N/D767a microphone for vocals on the tour. FOH Engineer Jan Visser explained the EV difference:
“The choice became obvious after testing several brands, primarily because EV delivers clean sound at very high SPL while still offering me enough headroom for the voices. Since Moke produces a lot of information concentrated at various frequency levels, headroom and sonic quality were key factors for my choice. On top of that, the additional technical support E-audio Benelux provides is of such a high caliber
that I didn’t have any doubt regarding my choice.
Axel Nagtegaal, MD of E-audio benelux, is excited to be working with Visser and Moke, “Moke’s decision to use our concert sound equipment, support and expertise of EV makes me proud since this is Holland’s most popular band as we speak — they could’ve chosen any brand to accompany them on tour.
