Full Members of the Music Producers Guild can now join BASCA at a reduced rate thanks to a reciprocal membership deal announced by the two organisations, which comes into force this month (December 2016).
The British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (BASCA) is the voice for music writers. It exists to support and protect the professional interests of songwriters, lyricists and composers of all genres of music and to celebrate and encourage excellence in British music writing.
“We are delighted to offer this benefit to our Full Members, many of whom combine production with songwriting and composition,” says MPG director Bruno Ellingham. “We are also very happy to foster a closer relationship with BASCA through this arrangement.”
All Full Members of the MPG are entitled to £50 off the membership price for Professional BASCA membership, while Professional BASCA members will be entitled to £50 off the price of Full Membership with the MPG, if they qualify.
