First, the site was acknowledged during the 25th Annual Multichannel Merchant Awards held in Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. MusiciansFriend.com earned Website of the Year honors, receiving the highest score of all websites judged in all categories. Additionally, the MusiciansFriend.com site won a Gold Award in the Computer and High-Tech Equipment and Software category. This marks the fourth year in a row that Musicianâ€™s Friend has been a finalist, having also won Gold awards in
the Computer and High Tech Equipment category in 2007 and 2009 and a Silver award in 2008. As in past years, Musicianâ€™s Friend was in good company â€“ other Gold and Silver winners included Crutchfield, L.L. Bean, Harry & David and The Orvis Co. â€“ all significant leaders in direct marketing.
Additionally, Musicianâ€™s Friend has also taken the number-one position, based on sales, in Internet Retailer magazineâ€™s annual Top 100 Web Retailers List in the Specialty/Non-Apparel category for 2010.
