Nashville, TN — Audio industry golfers and sponsors from across the country are set to descend on Nashville’s Harpeth Hills Golf Course for the 27th Annual AudioMasters Benefit Golf Tournament, the DiGiCo AudioMasters Live taking place on May 15 and the API AudioMasters on May 16 – two days of fun, networking, and fundraising to fill the coffers of the Nashville Engineer Relief Fund (NERF). Founded as a way for the Nashville audio community to rally together in support of fellow audio pros in times of crisis, the AudioMasters has taken on its own unique place in the professional audio industry as a social event with a heart.
In addition to the tournament’s offerings players find around the course, ranging from numerous food and beverage options to contests, swag, and gear showcases, each day also features a designated VIP making the rounds and sharing in the giving spirit. Thursday’s special guest will be John McBride, live sound legend and co-owner of Nashville’s Blackbird Studio and Institutional Director of The Blackbird Academy. Friday’s special guest will be broadcast engineering pioneer Marc Repp whose credits include mixing over 250 major award shows and 400 music-variety specials, including 30 years as the primary audio mixer for the CMA Awards.
