Perfect for DJs, Listening Rooms, Home Theatres, and Die-Hard Audio Fans, DFA is Sold as a Pair and Ideal for Both Consumer and Pro Audio Applications
EDMONTON, AB, Canada., Feb. 10, 2026 – After a tremendously successful 2026 NAMM Show launch, held Jan. 22-24 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif., Dillinger Labs (www.dillingerlabs.com) is proud to announce its new Death From Above (DFA) battery powered SKAA wireless speaker is now shipping. DFA, sold as a pair, is available with an MSRP of $1,199.99 USD.
“We were confident Death From Above would be an immensely popular speaker at NAMM as the industry is looking for more high-end mobile wireless options versus the notoriously unreliable Bluetooth systems currently flooding the market, but DFA was even more of a hit than even we knew it would be,” explained Rex Whitehead, Dillinger Labs president. “DFA is built to dominate any room it lands in. With a true 3-way design, it delivers clarity, punch, and low-end power that won’t compromise. It’s simple to set up, effortless to run, and impossible to ignore. Perfect for DJs, listening rooms, home theatres, and die-hard audio fans, Death From Above combines raw performance with refined design.”
Dillinger Labs also recently announced it new Death From Below Mk2 SKAA-enabled, battery-powered mobile subwoofer is now shipping with an MSRP of $899.99 (USD).
“Since DFA and DFB are battery-operated and utilize SKAA wireless, they combine for the world’s fastest, easiest mobile DJ set…guaranteed music in under five minutes,” Whitehead continued. “Then, and as important, is the quick tear down time since there are no power or signal cables…just grab your gear and walk out. From performance to utilizing one’s precious time before, during, and following a gig, DFA and DFB with SKAA are the ideal combinations.”
With removable, customizable grills, DFA is a system that looks as fierce as it sounds. Powered by SKAA and SKAA Pro, it’s the next-level top speaker that you’ve been waiting for. The intuitive Bond Button and volume control make setup fast, while tailored EQ profiles let you dial in the sound for use with or without Death From Below. Bright panel LEDs keep everything clear and easy to manage, whether you’re on stage, in the booth, or at home. Pair it with Death From Below Mk2 for the complete experience. DFB grounds the system with earth-shaking bass. DFA lifts it with detail and presence. Together, they redefine what a speaker stack can be — powerful, balanced, and beautifully seamless.
“One hundred percent Bluetooth-free, DFA speakers are fully-compliant SKAA /SKAA Pro receivers,” Whitehead continued. “Feed DFA from a Dani, Cassandra, or any other SKAA or SKAA Pro transmitter, or a SKAA / SKAA Pro Hub speaker such as Wet Sounds Portable (WS-L), Soundboks 3, 4, Go or Electrotec STAGE ONE. Are you in the pro audio market? You can feed DFA from a SKAA Pro mixer from Cerwin Vega. A pair of DFAs pole mounted atop two DFB subwoofers is an ideal setup for the gigging mobile DJ.”
Death from Above allows for up to four SKAA receivers (any combination of DFA and any other SKAA receivers) at the same time with any one SKAA transmitter, 50-hour battery life, one knob operation, three-way acoustics and dual crossover, and EQ and Time Align options.
