Studio A is well known as an excellent rock and roll tracking room but is equally well-respected as a superb room for orchestras and film scoring. The highly customized OWR Focusrite console remains in A. One of the largest collections of rare and esoteric outboard gear ever assembled resides in this room, and included is access to the unparalleled Ocean Way microphone collection. Studio A features the original Motown 9' Steinway grand piano to accompany Ocean Way's historic Steinway B.
