Paragon Studios Welcomes Two New Hires

Andrew Mayer and Sarah Vorhees Join Nashville Post-Production Company

Franklin, TN, February 18, 2009 – Paragon Studios, an industry leader in audio, broadcast and film post-production, is pleased to announce the additions of studio assistants Andrew Mayer and Sarah Vorhees. Mayer and Vorhees join Paragon Studios after successfully completing an intensive 6-month internship where each learned the intricacies of Paragon’s studio operations.

As an assistant to Paragon Studios owner Fred Paragano, Mayer handles editorial and session preparation and assists Paragano on the various projects he is working on.

“Andrew is really a great addition to our team,” says Fred Paragano. “He gives everything his full attention and puts his heart and soul into everything he does, no matter how small a job may be. Andrew made himself very valuable here and when it came time to make the decision of what to do with him, we didn’t want to let him go. Andrew takes care of the details that I don’t have the time to worry about and that allows me to focus on what it is I need to do.”

The Demascus, MD native attended The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Gilbert, AZ.

As an overall studio assistant, Vorhees’ daily responsibilities include overseeing tape logging and archiving. In addition, she is responsible for note taking during studio sessions and is charged with keeping the facility in order.

“Sarah’s attention to detail is excellent,” says Paragano. “As we continue to take on more projects and our workload increases, it is great to have someone like Sarah checking over everything and making sure nothing is overlooked. She is a vital part of our team and we enjoy having her with us.”

A native of Southern Illinois, Vorhees earned her Bachelor’s degree in Radio-Television with a concentration in Audio Production from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
