Pop-Punk Band Transit Choose VOX AC30C2 Combo Guitar Amplifiers and VOX Virage Guitars

MELVILLE, NY, August 8, 2011 — Transit is a young pop-punk band based out of Stoneham, Massachusetts, that has been progressively evolving since 2006. The band’s guitarists, Torre Cioffi and Tim Landers, have been using VOX AC30C2 amplifiers and Virage Guitars for live use and in the studio. Their style can be described as a combination of post-hardcore and pop-punk with adolescent spirit and amateur guitar grit.

Landers’ and Cioffi’s VOX AC30C2 amps and Virage guitars have been on stage with them on the popular Bamboozle tour and will be featured when the band heads out with Bayside for some late summer dates. Cioffi commented on his experience with his VOX gear while out on the road: “My favorite features about the guitar are the way it feels and the way it sounds. It’s so easy to play and just plays so smooth. It

also is so light, so live, it’s a blast to play. The sound that this guitar and its pickups produce is mind-blowing as well, especially playing it though the VOX AC30C2 2×12 combo amp. I feel like I will never be fully satisfied with a guitar again until I get another VOX.â€?

Their latest album, Promise Nothing, was released in Spring 2011. Check out the video on YouTube of Tim Landers and Torre Cioffi showing off their Virage guitars: www.youtube.com/user/VOXampsforever.
