Brooklyn, NY (April 25, 2019): Pro Sound Effects®, the next level sound effects library company, has released Wildlife Collection: Bengal Tiger — a pristine specialty library featuring a wide variety of vivid tiger recordings ready for naturalistic use and sound design applications.
The expressive sounds of a middle-aged female Bengal tiger were captured at 24-bit/192kHz by recordist and sound effects editor, Chris Diebold (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Transformers: The Last Knight), using multiple microphones including the Sanken CO-100K with a frequency response of 20Hz–100kHz. These high-resolution sounds of deep growls, gnarly crunches, and heavy chuffs are ripe for pitch processing – making them perfect for sound designing beasts, monsters, and other creatures.
In addition to the raw recordings, the library also contains designed and “hyped” sounds to drag-and-drop directly into your animalistic designs and scenes. Each sound file is embedded with rich, descriptive metadata for fast, intuitive search results to help increase efficiency and creativity.
“One of the most challenging aspects for creating vocals for any kind of animal on screen is to properly convey emotion,” says Chris Diebold. “It’s essential to have a wide range of high quality animal recordings. Tigers and other big cats have that throaty, gurgley sound, so this library gives you immense sound design possibilities.”
