In his new role, Goeke serves as the company’s legal counsel, where he is responsible for matters involving legal and tax issues, contract negotiations, trademarks, and other legal decisions affecting the corporation. As the company’s financial officer, he prepares and files tax returns, prepares financial reports, oversees account payables and receivables, and manages general accounting procedures. Additional management responsibilities include oversight of company personnel, sales, marketing, plus product distribution and inventory control.
Goeke is well suited to handle his new position at Chandler Limited. After graduating from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa with a BA in Finance/Accounting, he worked in the financial sector handling mortgage banking and investments. After receiving his J.D. from the University of Missouri law school, he was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1998. He then joined his father’s private law practice, where he practiced in the areas of tax, corporate contracts, real estate, and financial counseling. In recent years, he has worked on a number of high profile business cases for Chandler Limited and, as a result, has a firm understanding of company’s operations.
Goeke commented on his new role with Chandler Limited, “I’m delighted to be joining the family business.
