ROYER LABS WINS AT 2008 TEC AWARDS

Burbank, CA … Royer Labs, recognized globally for its high quality ribbon microphones used by leading studio professionals, is pleased to announce that the company’s Live Series microphones won the coveted TEC Award in the Microphone Technology/Sound Reinforcement category during the recent 2008 TEC (Technical Excellence & Creativity) Awards show. The awards program, hosted each fall during the AES (Audio Engineering Society) trade show, honors outstanding achievement in a variety of categories that encompasses both creative and technical areas.

Hosted by the Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio on Friday, October 3rd, 2008 at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, this year’s awards ceremony marked the 24th year for the TEC Awards. The show occurred on the first night of the 125th AES Convention, which this year, was held at San Francisco’s Moscone Center. The Royer Live Series won the TEC Award in the category of Microphone Technology/Sound Reinforcement. John Jennings, Royer VP of Sales and Marketing accepted the award for the company.
