Industry Icon Meets LA Pro Audio Community and Shares Insights and History
Industry icon and renowned audio electronics inventor/designer Rupert Neve made a guest appearance at Vintage King Audio’s new Los Angeles showroom and studios to make an appearance on a special location edition of “Pensado’s Place,” the popular weekly webshow hosted by top mixing engineer Dave Pensado.
On hand to meet Neve were engineers Geoff Emerick, Lenise Bent, as well as Vintage King’s Tom Menrath, Shevy Shovlin, Erika Earl and dozens of enthusiasts who utilize Neve gear in their daily work. Rupert Neve Designs recently earned two TEC Awards at WinterNAMM for both the Portico II: Master Buss Processor and the 5059 Satellite 16_2+2 Summing Mixer, as well as a Pro Sound Network “Best of Show” award for one of the newly-announced 500-series pieces, the 542 Tape Emulator with Texture.
