SAE Institute, a creative media arts college with seven campuses across the United States, is now offering diploma programs for students at its Chicago school. Diplomas in Audio Technology and Music Business are available as part of the school’s Audio Technology Program and Music Business Program.
“Our diplomas are 3 semester, 12 month long programs,” says James Thomas, Campus Director of SAE Chicago. “They focus exclusively on teaching the core competencies for Audio Technology and Music Business, allowing students to completely focus on the foundation elements that they wish to learn.”
Students pursuing diplomas in SAE’s Audio Technology or Music Business program will receive a comprehensive materials bundle upon enrollment, including an Apple 13? MacBook Pro laptop, Ultrasone Headphones, and a SAE laptop bag. Audio Technology Program students will also have popular audio production software – such as Avid Fast Track Duo Audio Interface, Waves Certification Bundle, Native Instruments Komplete 9, Ableton Live 9, Avid Pro Tools 11, and Apple Logic Pro X – included in their materials bundle.
“Diploma programs are available at SAE’s campuses in Nashville, New York, Miami, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, and we’re now excited to offer them here in Chicago,” says Thomas. “They represent a rapid and cost effective way for students who wish to find employment as audio engineers or producers, or as music business entrepreneurs or professionals, to gain the knowledge they need to begin their careers.”
Upon earning their diplomas, SAE Chicago’s graduates will have access to the school’s vast alumni network, which is comprised of graduates from SAE’s 50 campuses around the world. Many of these graduates are leaders in the music, film, television, web, and gaming industries, and winners of prestigious awards, including GRAMMYS and Oscars.
SAE Institute Chicago is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
