SonicPool just provided the audio mix for the recent, 35th Annual “People’s Choice Awards� video clip packages for client CBS Television. That telecast was presented in Los Angeles on Jan. 7, 2009. This is the third time that SonicPool has provided these services for this telecast.
The company is currently providing online and color correction for the documentary film “Official Rejection,� from filmmaker Paul Osborne. The film follows aspiring filmmakers along the film festival circuit, and takes a lighthearted but realistic look at the politics, pitfalls, costs and toll of life at these fests. Says Osborne, “The film’s goal is to demonstrate exactly what happens once you finish your movie—the reality of today’s film festival landscape, and the emotional roller-coaster those who dare venture onto it find themselves riding.�
And, SonicPool is currently also providing the online and color correction for a feature film trailer, promoting the indie feature film “Moscow, Belgiumâ€? for client Sweet Spot Entertainment. The comedic drama film’s storyline: A fender bender sends a single mother and a much younger man on a collision course toward love in this comic drama. Set in Belgium’s blue collar neighborhood of Moscow, the film’s heroine, Matty, has nothing but harsh words for Johnny when the trucker inflicts a dent in her car. But soon she sees a whole different side of him. Can their relationship survive a secret about his past?
