SONICPOOL WORKS DAY AND NIGHT TO COMPLETE SEASON THREE OF BIG IDEAS FOR A SMALL PLANET

Hollywood, CA May 12, 2009 - SonicPool, one of Hollywood's leading post facilities, specializing in sound and picture finishing, edit suite rentals, and duplication, has just completed full audio, HD online and duplication services for the Sundance Channel hit show, “Big Ideas for a Small Planet.� The announcement was made by John Frost and Patrick Bird, co-founders, SonicPool.

"Big Ideas For a Small Planet" contacted SonicPool, giving them four short weeks to complete HD online and audio services for season three episodes. SonicPool rose to the challenge and completed the post production finishing, utilizing multiple HD Online and Audio Suites. The workflow included three colorists working simultaneously while the HD assembling and conform was performed in a fourth HD Online Suite during day and night shifts. Audio mixers worked day and night shifts as well to complete the job, on-time and on-budget.
