Spanish Rental Company Fluge Chooses to Equip their Consoles with Waves MultiRack

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL, March 18, 2014 — Fluge, a Madrid, Spain-based rental sound company, is the latest high-profile user to equip their consoles with tools from Waves Audio. Fluge supplies professional sound equipment for concert tours, corporate events, musicals, installations and any productions that involve live professional audio. Aside from its headquarters in Madrid, Fluge has domestic branches in Barcelona, Zaragoza, and Valencia and international branches in Shanghai and Panama City. Employing Waves’ MultiRack SoundGrid® and SoundGrid servers, Fluge has supplied Waves-enabled consoles for the musicals Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar and Grease and for artist tours by Melendi (console: DiGiCo D5), Pablo Alborán (Avid D-Show), Alejandro Sanz (DiGiCo SD7), Dani (Yamaha CL-5), and Violetta (DiGiCo SD5).

Fluge’s Technical Director Raúl Méndez says: “In the past few years, Fluge has been investing in Waves tools with the objective of having Waves plugins available for our vast range of Avid Venue consoles. Now, with Waves’ SoundGrid technology and the ability to run Waves plugins in low latency with MultiRack on all consoles, we have decided to equip our stock of Yamaha and DiGiCo consoles with Waves tools as well.”

Mendez adds: “One of the great benefits of using Waves is, without any doubt, the fact that we don’t have to carry heavy FX racks like we used to. Nowadays, for instance, we are replacing the TC6000 system with the Waves IR-Live convolution reverb. It is a great benefit to our operation since it saves space and weight in transit. The great sound and easy solutions Waves Audio supplies are an absolute must for a company like ours.”
