DJ Young 1 to Spin at Gibson Pro Audio Booth

Stanton®, part of the Gibson Pro Audio division, and an industry leader in the design and manufacture of professional audio products for DJs, is bringing the future of DJ gear and talent to the attendees of the 2013 NAMM Show, where the company will host performances by some of the industry’s top DJ’s. Headlining the schedule of events will be DJ Young 1, performing in the Gibson Pro Audio booth (Room # 303AB – Level 3) on Saturday, January 26 at 1:00 p.m.

During the event, DJ Young 1 will take the stage and mix beats from a variety of genres—including hip-hop, top 40, reggae, electro/club, neo house and deep house—all on the SCS.4DJ Complete Digital DJ System, one of Stanton’s latest offerings. Just 10 years old, DJ Young 1 is the youngest Advanced level student of Jam Master Jay’s Scratch Academy in Los Angeles, where she continues to hone her craft. She has spun her magic at a diverse range of venues, including the San Francisco Supper Club, The Palms (Los Angeles), Leige (Oakland) and The New Parish (Oakland). She has also lent her talents to special performances for San Francisco Pride Day, DJ Spark’s Birthday Bash, and the WNBA Los Angeles Sparks MVP Picnic.

Like DJ Young 1, Stanton’s SCS.4DJ is a game changer for the industry—the first fully integrated DJ solution capable of providing the functionality and performance demanded by today’s music enthusiasts, professional DJs and artists. Powered by state-of-the-art processors, the SCS.4DJ removes the need for an external computer during performances. Users can simply plug in a storage device and start mixing with the built-in decks, mixer and high-resolution color display.

Additional performances by Stanton artists will be posted daily at the Gibson booth -Room # 303AB.
